Since 1994, our Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy Assistant degree program has been shaping the future of healthcare at Daytona State College. Admission requirements

To be considered for the program, applicants must do the following:
Coursework: Successfully complete the following courses with a grade of 'C' or better:

  • Human Anatomy & Physiology I and Lab (BSC1085C)
  • Introduction to Composition (ENC1101)
  • General Psychology (PSY1012)
  • Introduction to Occupational Therapy (OTH1001)
  • Complete all math requirements through MAT1033.

Certifications: Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support for Health Care Providers and AED certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

Academic excellence: Maintain a grade of 'C' or better in all program-specific and general education courses.
