You can achieve your dream of becoming a teacher by enrolling at Daytona State College. The college now offers seven Bachelor of Science in Education degrees: Elementary Education K-6, Exceptional Student Education K-12, Mathematics 6-12, Biology 6-12, Chemistry 6-12, Physics 6-12 and Earth/Space Science 6-12.
This program incorporates an innovative curriculum with cutting-edge technology. Our experienced faculty is dedicated to providing students with the essential knowledge and strategies needed to become successful teachers. The degree programs are fully accredited, state-approved programs that fulfill the education courses, professional education competencies and practical experience required for students to obtain a five-year Florida Professional Educator's Certificate in their respective disciplines. Elementary Education and Exceptional Student Education programs include a reading endorsement and an ESOL endorsement.
