A short two miles from the Daytona Beach Campus is the News-Journal Center, Daytona State’s performing arts venue and home to its popular music production technology program. This two-theater venue features the most cutting-edge technology available. Its recording and sound studios were designed and built by working industry professionals dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to develop their skills using industry standard digital and analog audio production equipment.
Daytona State College's News-Journal Center features two live performance theaters linked through a fiber-optic network to a studio control room that allows for multi-track audio recording of live performances; rehearsal rooms, isolation rooms and two production studios.
