Campus Highlights

The Daytona Beach Campus – the largest of DSC’s seven campuses – is located in a vacation destination city that attracts more than 10 million visitors annually from around the world. With miles of warm water beaches and the Intracoastal Waterway, Daytona and the surrounding region are a haven for surfing, paddleboarding, boating, kayaking, deep sea and freshwater fishing, snorkeling and SCUBA diving. It is also a motorsports mecca, home to NASCAR’s Daytona 500, the Rolex 24 and Bike Week, which draws hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts to city-wide events every Spring and Fall.

The campus, with a student population of 18,255, offers a range of academic programs, including baccalaureate, associate of arts (university transfer degree), associate of science, adult education and certificate programs. Students have access to tutoring and academic support specialists in areas such the library, Academic Support Center and the Writing Center.
   
In addition to hosting the college’s primary administrative offices, the campus is also home to the Southeast Museum of Photography, the Mori Hosseini College of Hospitality and Culinary Management, Falcon Athletics NJCAA Division I teams, a fitness center and indoor pool, the student-run television station WDSC-15, the L. Gale Lemerand Student Center, and the newly opened Residence Hall
