College Application

Submit your online college admission application or come to one of our campuses.

Financial Aid

Apply for financial aid as soon as possible. Financial aid is available to students enrolled in an eligible program to assist in meeting educational expenses. Daytona State’s school code is 001475. It takes 4-6 weeks to process, so start early.

Scholarships

The scholarship application is a single application, which allows to students to apply for multiple scholarships from the DSC Foundation at one time.

MyDaytonaState & Falcon Self-Service

Once you receive your acceptance letter/email you will have access to your student portal. Go to the MyDaytonaState portal and sign into Falcon Self-Service for access to your to-do list, orientation, college email, grades, and class information. All official college communications are sent to your Falcon Mail account.

Submit final, official high school or GED® transcript including a graduation date. If you have not yet graduated from high school, please provide a copy of your in-progress transcripts as soon as possible and send the final, official transcript upon graduation. Students who graduated from a home school program are required to submit a home school affidavit and proof of registration with the local county or school board. Submit final, official transcripts from all colleges or universities you have attended. An official transcript is one that arrives in a sealed envelope.

Contact Admissions for more information about your transcript requirements. Please DO NOT submit your original documents to the College.

Orientation is an important step in getting started in the right direction!

Our Orientation program is geared to increase your college awareness, engage you as a learner, and get you ready to be successful in your college journey. The orientation is a series of short videos, facts, quizzes, games and takes approximately an hour to complete. To complete orientation, navigate to your To Do list on your Falcon Self-Service portal.

Group New Student Advising

Scheduling your Group New Student Advising session is the next important step towards enrolling in classes. All sessions are in a group format with the opportunity for Q&A .  

Register and pay for classed on Falcon-Self Service through th MyDaytonaState portal.

The Office of Student Accounts offers a number of payment options to assist you to make payments while your financial aid is being processed or if you will not be using financial aid. 

Daytona State College has two tuition rates. One rate is designed for students who meet the qualifications for Florida residency for tuition purposes. The other is a higher, non-resident tuition rate. Prove your Florida residency before the first day of the classes to qualify for the lower in-state rate.

Before classes start, get your student ID card and parking decal at the Question & Answer Center on the Daytona Beach Campus or the Falcon Center on any regional campus.
