Program features

  • Robust training: Begin with an OSHA safety course and earn at least an OSHA 10 card upon successful completion. Gain deep insights into the rules and regulations governing the plumbing and pipefitting craft across the state.
  • Diverse curriculum: Courses cover a wide range of essential skills including math, drawing interpretation, welding, pipefitting, layout, rigging and signaling, tubing, basic air conditioning and refrigeration, and the use and care of tools.

Admission requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the admission interview.
  • Selection by the Daytona Beach Plumbers and Pipefitters Union #295 Apprenticeship Committee.
  • High school diploma or GED, along with official transcripts.
  • Valid driver's license and the physical ability to perform the duties of the trade.
  • Completion of one credit of high school algebra.
  • Drug test prior to employment.
